30.05.2019

Time is running out to submit your abstract for OCEANS 2019 Seattle, October 27-31 in Seattle, WA. For two more days, we are accepting technical abstracts highlighting these topics under the overall conference theme of "Blue Sea, Blue Sky, Blue Tech.” If your abstract is selected, it is your chance to present your innovative research in the marine field to your colleagues and industry-wide attendees. Authors are invited to submit abstracts through Friday, May 31 in one of four presentation categories:

1. Oral Presentation and Published Paper: If accepted, you will write a paper per instructions for publication in IEEE Xplore and deliver that in person during a technical session sometime Monday through Wednesday, October 28-30.

2. General Poster Session: If accepted, you will create a poster per instructions for download from the meeting app and online program and present that in person in Seattle sometime Monday through Wednesday, October 28-30.

3. Student Poster Competition: This long-time tradition of OCEANS conferences is described in detail here. It is open to full-time undergraduate and graduate students, and the authors of the top 20 abstracts will be funded to attend the meeting and present their posters Monday through Wednesday, October 28-30. Further, you will write a paper based on your poster work to be published in IEEE Xplore.

4. Workshops, Tutorials, and Special Sessions: The Technical Program Committee also seeks those who wish to lead topical tutorials, workshops, or product demonstrations. We are changing the usual timing and holding these on Thursday, October 31st rather than the traditional Monday schedule. Please submit an abstract with details such that we can connect with you directly and discuss details.
