In September 2016 the privately owned Norwegian EPC Contractor Imenco AS launched a new division Imenco Corrosion Technology to concentrate on the promotion of its field proven anode systems globally to the offshore renewable energy sector and into late life assets in the oil and gas industry. Imenco Corrosion Technology deliver ROV installable solutions that are cost effective as they have short installation time, are technically sound, both mechanically strong and maintain a long term electrical continuity, and are simple to install. The clamps can be installed by ROV pilots or divers without any specialist training. With offices in Norway, Aberdeen in UK, Lafayette in USA and in Singapore, Imenco Corrosion Technology will aim to provide all the major offshore wind, tidal energy, marine energy along with oil and gas companies’ sacrificial anode equipment to protect their subsea structures at new build stages or as a retrofit solution.

Imenco UK Ltd and Tokyo Sangyo Co Ltd Sign Agency Agreement

In early July 2016 at a meeting in Aberdeen, Imenco UK Ltd signed an agency agreement with Tokyo Sangyo Co Ltd for the promotion and sales of all Imenco products into the Japanese geographic region. The agreement covers all aspects of the Oil and Gas and Renewable Energy sectors. Tokyo Sangyo Co Ltd identified Imenco as one of the critical North Sea OEM organisations that could support their efforts on behalf of the Japanese Government’s aspiration of moving away from reliance on Nuclear Energy to other forms of sustainable power.

The SubVIS platform is based on embedding a computer into the camera,making it ready for advanced image enhancement and Computer Vision. We have effectively made a dedicated computer especially designed for low latency video processing,based on Smart Phone technology. Full digital video transmission opens up an array of applications in the control room.

FPAL enables the oil & gas sector to use Achilles' proven supplier pre-qualification system to identify, pre-qualify and assess suppliers for tender opportunities and minimise risk within their supply chains and to drive industry best practice.

April 2015 will see Imenco bring its latest camera platform, the SubVIS Orca, to market.

This will feature HD over Ethernet compatibility. Imenco’s new HD over Ethernet subsea camera, the SubVIS Orca, will launch globally on Tuesday 07 April 2015. Essentially a smart phone with a commercial subsea lens and housing rated to 4000 meters, the camera will be Apps driven and will be capable of communication with all sensors installed on Remote Operated Vehicles (ROV).
