Polish Navy Adds New T20-S Module to GAVIA AUV

Teledyne Gavia is pleased to announce that the Polish Ministry of Defence (MOD) is bolstering its underwater survey capabilities by procuring the Teledyne RESON SeaBat T20-S Module for the group's GAVIA Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs). These AUVs have been successfully employed by the Polish MOD for mine countermeasures (MCM) since 2014 and currently comprise a fleet of four (4) GAVIA AUVs, each equipped with extensive capabilities.

Boskalis Awarded Large Cable Contracts for Baltica 2 Offshore Wind Farm

Boskalis has acquired two contracts for the transportation and installation of the export and array cables for the Baltica 2 offshore wind farm off the coast of Poland. The two contracts have a combined value which is considered to be large(1) and they were awarded by a joint venture between PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna and Ørsted, which are developing the Baltica 2 project.

Saab Receives Order for Additional Double Eagle SAROV Systems from Poland

Saab has received an order for deliveries of additional underwater vehicles called Double Eagle SAROV (Semi-Autonomous Remotely Operated Vehicle); these are to be used for safe disposing of sea mines. Escort S.P our Polish distributor of AC-CESS products has been awarded the contract to supply specialised underwater equipment for inspection of harbours throughout Poland. The AC-ROV has been purchased to be integrated into 2 new vessels which were under construction at the time of the sale. Arek Markowski of Escort Sp. Zo.o said “The vessels will service 2 harbours in Poland, one in Gdansk and the other in Szczecin. The AC-ROV’s will be carrying out general harbour inspections by the harbour vessels”.
