Blue Robotics Announces the T500 Thruster

Torrance based Blue Robotics announced their newest product, the T500 Thruster. The T500 Thruster is an underwater thruster that produces 16 kgf (35.5 lb) of thrust and can be used on remotely operated underwater vehicles (ROVs), unmanned surface vessels (USV), unmanned underwater vehicles (UUVs), and human-carrying vehicles like kayaks and stand-up paddleboards.

Blue Robotics Expands on the WetLink Product Line

Torrance based Blue Robotics announced the expansion of the WetLink family of products. The WetLink Penetrator (WLP) is Blue Robotics’ next-generation solution for low-cost, high pressure, high reliability sealing of electrical cables as they pass into enclosures or other devices. It’s rated to a depth of 950 meters (3,116 feet) and compared to subsea connectors or penetrators, the WLP is a fraction of the cost while offering validated reliability. The WetLink Penetrator line now has cable gland sizes compatible with cables between 3.7mm to 9.8mm diameter.

The WetLink Penetrator (WLP) is Blue Robotics’ next-generation solution for low-cost, high pressure, high reliability sealing of electrical cables as they pass into enclosures or other devices. It’s rated to a depth of 950 meters (3,116 feet) and compared to subsea connectors or penetrators, the WLP is a fraction of the cost while offering validated reliability. The first size of the WLP product is available now for $12 each and compatible with 6.0-6.5mm cable diameters.

Partnership Between Blue Robotics and Outland Technology Yields a New Surface Power Supply for the BlueROV2

Torrance based Blue Robotics announced their newest product, the Outland Technology Power Supply for the BlueROV2, which was developed and manufactured by Outland Technology of Slidell, Louisiana. The Outland Technology Power Supply (OTPS) provides a solution to power the BlueROV2 through the tether cable, eliminating the need for batteries and allowing it to be operated indefinitely. The OTPS is available immediately from Blue Robotics, starting at $11,300 for a complete system.

Blue Robotics’ New Ping360 Scanning Sonar Enables Low-Cost ROV Navigation in Poor Visibility Underwater Environments

Torrance based Blue Robotics announced their newest product, the Ping360 Scanning Sonar, which offers small ROVs the ability to navigate in low visibility water conditions. The sonar achieves a new level of affordability with a price that is less than half of any other scanning sonar on the market at $1,975 USD. The Ping360 is available immediately from Blue Robotics and distributors.
