Subsea Engineering Firm to Headquarter in Aberdeen's New W-Zero-1 Building

Subsea technology and services company, HonuWorx, has committed its long-term future to Aberdeen by choosing to locate its headquarters in the W-Zero-1 building of the Wind Campus in the Energy Transition Zone. The company is aiming to radically up-end the multi billon pound underwater services market and has developed a suite of technologies to drive down the costs and environmental impact of deploying and operating subsea robots.

NOAA's National Data Buoy Center replaced a moored coastal weather buoy in the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary with a Saildrone Explorer to mitigate impacts caused by mooring material. Saildrone and NOAA's National Data Buoy Center (NDBC) announced today that Station 40612, a moored buoy located in Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary, has been replaced with a Saildrone uncrewed surface vehicle (USV).
