Ørsted and HBC Group Resume Subsea Inspection Cooperation

Ørsted has awarded HBC Group the contract to conduct subsea inspection campaigns for the 5th successive year. Under the contract, HBC Group will this year carry out the inspection campaigns at 10 of Ørsted’s offshore wind farms located on the UK East and West Coast and in the German North Sea Sector.



HBC Group is to perform IMR utilising their vessel HBC Achiever. The works will be performed with a combination of ROV and diving operation. HBC Group has over the last 4 years inspected a total of 335 foundations and 26 Substations. This includes Monopiles, Jackets, Suction bucket jackets and gravity based concrete structures. The two companies have previously cooperated on a number of successful offshore wind projects, always conducted to a very high safety standard.
