Atlas achieves first Helideck Certification Agency accredited course

MARKET leader in digital learning technologies Atlas Knowledge Group has achieved its first ever course accreditation from one of the helicopter industry’s leading authorities which regulates the safe operation of helidecks and helicopter landing sites.

The Helideck Certification Agency (HCA), which works to ensure the safe landing and take-off of helicopters across the world, has certified the international learning technologies company’s Dangerous Goods by Air Awareness course.



The Atlas online programme allows oil and gas industry helideck teams concerned with the loading and unloading of baggage and freight on offshore helicopters, to develop a deeper understanding and knowledge of the legislation and regulations in order to carry out their work safely.

The course is designed to help them identify package items, which labels and marks they need to bear for shipping, and also the suitability of the material contained inside the parcel being safely transported by air.
