Fully Equiped ARGOS Delivered to DGA

Forssea recently completed the delivery of one fully equipped #ARGOS smart ROV spread to DGA - Direction générale de l'armement in Brest, France. The system will be used in the context of underwater trial and technical offshore support.

ROV successively passed all factory acceptance tests (FAT), IT audit for cyber risk, and Sea acceptance tests. Deployed from DGA non-DP coastal support vessel, ARGOS have been interfaced with 5f electrical manipulator and sonar. A light 3x channel multiplexer have been delivered on a dedicated skid for plug & play survey sensor integration.

This contract, awarded late 2023, is Forssea’s first step in coastal defence applications. The ARGOS ROV is specifically made for autonomous seabed flights with versatile payload.
