Equinor has awarded ocean services provider DeepOcean a frame agreement for marine services covering subsea intervention and repair contingency for subsea pipelines, structures and high voltage cables for both offshore renewables and oil and gas fields.

Subsea7 today confirmed the award of a major contract amendment by Petrobras for the development of the Mero 4 field2 located approximately 200 kilometres off the coast of the state of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, at 2,200 metres water depth in the pre-salt Santos basin. The award was announced in redacted form on 27 September 20233 and was recorded in backlog in the third quarter of 2023.

Subsea7 today announced the award to Seaway7, part of the Subsea7 Group, of a substantial1 contract by Equinor and partner Polenergia for the inter-array cables of the MFW Bałtyk II and MFW Bałtyk III bottom-fixed offshore wind projects, in the Polish part of the Baltic Sea

Nauticus Robotics, a developer of autonomous robots using artificial intelligence for data collection and intervention services for the ocean industries, today announced it has been awarded an additional $2.1 million under its current contract with Leidos. The additional funding augments the earlier award and this program has received $16.6 million in funding from Leidos since 2022. The technology developed is expected to underpin future, economically material opportunities.

Reach Subsea ASA, the trusted data and subsea service provider for ocean-based industries, has received a notice of contract award, subject to successful contract negotiation, from a major European energy provider. The potential contract has a duration of approximately 75 vessel days and is scheduled for execution in the fourth quarter of 2023. The project will utilize one of Reach Subsea’s DP2 subsea vessels and the onboard high-speed survey ROV, the Surveyor Interceptor.
