James Fisher Subtech (JF Subtech), provider of specialist technical marine support to the renewables, oil and gas, civil works and salvage markets and part of James Fisher and Sons plc, has signed a charter agreement with Østensjø Rederi AS for the exclusive use of its inspection, repair and maintenance (IRM) and construction vessel, Edda Savanah.

Established in 2013, Hydra Subsea a wholly owned subsidiary of Hydra Offshore Construction Inc., is a full-service offshore marine contractor. Hydra provides specialized marine support services, offshore construction, saturation diving, heavy lift services and subsea solutions to support offshore operations in the US Gulf of Mexico, West Coast and many international locations. Hydra is pleased to announce that it has purchased the deep-water purpose built DP2 Multi-Purpose Construction Vessel MPCV Subsea Responder IV (ex SURF Challenger, ex DMT Emerald) a USA built, Jones Act Compliant, 292’ x 60’ diesel electric vessel with dual internal work class ROVs. The Subsea Responder IV also boasts a 110te Knuckle Boom Crane and a 125te deep water AHC lowering tower with 12,000’ capabilities and comfortable berthing for 77 persons.

Norwegian subsea shipping company Siem Offshore has signed a contract with an undisclosed subsea construction company for an offshore project in the Gulf of Mexico.

Delta SubSea, LLC (‘DSS’) has entered into an agreement with Olympic Shipping AS for the Olympic Delta, a newly built Multipurpose Subsea Support & Construction Vessel. The Olympic Delta is a GREEN Vessel designed according to DNV class, with high focus on reduced fuel consumption, which also means lesser emission to the environment. The vessel is equipped with two Delta SubSea Schilling HD 150 HP work-class remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) from DSS’s fleet.
