C-Kore’s 100th Subsea Testing Unit Deployed

28.11.2017
C-Kore Systems, a UK based company, has recently celebrated the deployment of its 100th C-Kore unit. This milestone was reached on a fault-finding campaign with a major oil company in the North Sea. The units have simplified subsea testing in over 30 different fields worldwide and helped both major oil companies and their installation contractors on installation/construction and fault-finding campaigns. The easy-to-use units save customers time and money by considerably reducing the time needed for electrical testing, providing quick and accurate insulation resistance and continuity measurements of electrical lines.

C-Kore Systems helping operator in Caspian region

26.10.2017
C-Kore Systems recently deployed their fault-finding tools with a major operator working in the Caspian Basin. The units quickly located the fault in the subsea field, allowing the operator to replace the faulty equipment and bring the systems back on-line with a minimum of vessel time. The C-Kore Subsea testing tools offer substantial savings to operators by allowing them to quickly locate the source of low IR or high CR in their subsea systems. The hand-held tools allow the measurements to be made directly subsea, eliminating the need for down-lines with all their associated problems.

Down-Hole Testing added to C-Kore Systems Subsea Services

07.09.2017
C-Kore Systems recently expanded the application of their subsea testing technology to down-hole testing. The new application was tested on Total’s K5F field off the coast of the Netherlands. The C-Kore units helped located the source of low IR on the down-hole system by plugging directly into the subsea Christmas tree, eliminating the need to use down-lines. The hand-held, pre-programmable units were easily installed by divers who located the fault quickly with limited diving time.

C-Kore Systems signs agreement with Shell for subsea technology

06.07.2017
C-Kore Systems have developed a new subsea technology which will save the UKCS subsea industry time and money.

North Sea embraces C-Kore for fault-finding operations

18.06.2017
C-Kore Systems recently deployed their subsea testing tools on three different fault-finding operations on the North Sea for three different UK customers. In each case C-Kore found the root cause of low IR faults, allowing the operators to return the field to health.

C-Kore Systems verifies umbilical installation in North Sea

27.04.2017
C-Kore Systems have verified the installation of 3 new umbilicals in the North Sea for a major oil company. The field is one of the biggest subsea projects being developed in the UK sector of the North Sea. The patented C-Kore Subsea Testing Tools were used both to prove cables subsea during installation and from the FPSO after hookup to the subsea control modules. Due to unique low-voltage IR testing technology, the C-Kore units allow testing of cables without requiring isolation of sensitive control modules electronics.

C-Kore Systems delivers Subsea Testing unit to USA

16.03.2017
C-Kore Systems delivered a C-Kore unit to a major integrated Oil and Gas Company with operations in the Gulf of Mexico. The unit will be used for fault finding on their assets in the Gulf of Mexico.

C-Kore Systems delivers units to Statoil

07.03.2017
C-Kore Systems recently delivered two further C-Kore units to Statoil. The C-Kore Subsea Testing Tools proved the insulation resistance and continuity of spare electrical cables located on the seabed that had no connection to topside equipment. The C-Kore Subsea Testing Tools are used on both fault-finding and construction campaigns to confirm the health or find faults in all types of electrical assets, including umbilicals, EFLs, SCMs and distribution units.

C-Kore & Shell give joint presentation at Subsea Expo

31.01.2017
C-Kore Systems and Shell UK will give a joint presentation at the Subsea Expo Conference Thursday the 2nd of February in Aberdeen. The presentation will focus on the use of the C-Kore Subsea Testing technology during intervention operations on Shell’s Corrib field. Subsea interventions are challenging operations. The C-Kore Subsea measurement tool simplifies the subsea testing process for subsea engineers during intervention campaigns. It provides far more accurate data readings than traditional testing methods and saves customers money by reducing days of vessel time.

C-Kore Systems supporting PTTEP on offshore deployment

16.12.2016
C-Kore Systems has been awarded another contract by PTTEP Australasia to supply them with four C-Kore Subsea Monitoring tools for an offshore operation in Australian waters. PTTEP has used the C-Kore devices on multiple deployments, and found “Offshore testing can be significantly simplified with this meter, and overall schedule reduced. This in turn would save substantial costs during offshore inspection and fault finding campaigns. The result of the test by the new technique is more reliable, consistent and cost effective method to confirm insulation resistance in a subsea cable system.”
