Tidewater Subsea in affiliation with its local Nigerian joint venture company, T1 Marine, has successfully completed Mooring and Hull inspections program for BW Offshore's Sendje Berge FPSO. The inspection included mooring chain measurements, hull cleaning and complete inspection reporting services utilizing the survey / light IMR vessel Goldblatt Tide. "Outfitted with a 3000m rated FMC Schilling Robotics WROV and 50T stern A-frame, the Goldblatt Tide is the ideal solution for cost-effective deep and shallow water pre-lay and post lay surveys, as well as a large variety of inspection, maintenance and repair scopes along the West African coast" says Ray Maza, Tidewater Subsea Business Development Manager.

Delta SubSea, LLC (‘DSS’) has entered into an agreement with Olympic Shipping AS for the Olympic Delta, a newly built Multipurpose Subsea Support & Construction Vessel. The Olympic Delta is a GREEN Vessel designed according to DNV class, with high focus on reduced fuel consumption, which also means lesser emission to the environment. The vessel is equipped with two Delta SubSea Schilling HD 150 HP work-class remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) from DSS’s fleet.

Tidewater Subsea Executes MSA with Gallatin Marine

Gallatin Marine has executed an MSA with Tidewater Subsea to provide work class ROV services on board the AMC Ambassador DP2 Jones Act vessel. The vessel is equipped with a 60T AHC knuckle boom crane, and is currently providing IRM services primarily in the Gulf of Mexico. Tidewater Subsea has mobilized a 150 hp FMC Schilling HD work class ROV on board. Projects have been successfully completed for Bennu Oil & Gas and Noble Energy to date.

A New Generation of Trenching

MTCS LTD goes further afield to combat downturn

MTCS (Maritime training and Competence services) specialising in Subsea training was used to dispatching a trainer a week to Aberdeen to deliver High Voltage Safety Awareness, Assessor Skills or technical training to the various array of oil companies supplying the Oil and gas businesses in and on the outskirts of the city. Since the price of oil has dropped through the floor in the last 6 months they are finding they need to go further afield to secure business. The 5 hour car journey to the Granite City has been replaced by somewhat longer haul flights. This week trainers are in Trinidad, Hong Kong and Singapore delivering a range of safety and technical training.

New General Manager at Teledyne Bowtech Ltd

Simon Beswick has been appointed to the role of General Manager at Teledyne Bowtech Ltd. Simon was previously Managing Director of Tritech International Ltd from 2008 having joined as Finance Director in 2007. Prior to joining Tritech, Simon had spent most of his career in international roles within the specialist chemical industry. Simon is an engineering graduate and holds an MBA from Oxford University.
