Cellula Robotics Ltd. (Cellula) is pleased to announce we are six months into a contract with Trusted Autonomous Systems (TAS), to develop the next generation of fuel cell powered, Extra-Large Unmanned Underwater Vehicle (XLUUV). Funded by the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) and in collaboration with sovereign sub-contractors, project SeaWolf is set to debut the first 12m XLUUV hull in the fourth quarter of 2022.

Nauticus Robotics to Launch Nauticus Fleet, Pioneering Untethered Robot Teaming for Offshore Industry

Nauticus Robotics Inc., a Houston-area developer of subsea and surface robotic services using autonomy software, announced today the initial production run of Nauticus Fleet, a robotic navy of 20 Hydronaut - Aquanaut pairs. These tandem pairs will be deployed in multiple offshore industries serving applications ranging from subsea maintenance and intervention to data collection activities. These first sets of robots will be delivered in Q4 2022, with the remainder being fulfilled by the end of 2024.

These past 3 years, TotalEnergies have been collaborating with FORSSEA to qualify the ATOLL ROV, dedicated to fast LBL deployment and recovery. ATOLL uses a robotized latching system guided by visual aided docking algorithms. Each LBL temporary frame or acoustic transponder must be equipped a bullet to allow quick interfacing with the ATOLL ROV.

Blue Robotics Expands on the WetLink Product Line

Torrance based Blue Robotics announced the expansion of the WetLink family of products. The WetLink Penetrator (WLP) is Blue Robotics’ next-generation solution for low-cost, high pressure, high reliability sealing of electrical cables as they pass into enclosures or other devices. It’s rated to a depth of 950 meters (3,116 feet) and compared to subsea connectors or penetrators, the WLP is a fraction of the cost while offering validated reliability. The WetLink Penetrator line now has cable gland sizes compatible with cables between 3.7mm to 9.8mm diameter.
