The Committee for the AAPG 2016 Annual Convention and Exhibition (ACE), chaired by Paul MacKay and vice-chair Jen Russel-Houston, announced a record number of abstracts – 1,830 – submitted for the event taking place 19-22 June 2016 in Calgary, AB, Canada. The number represents a six percent increase in submissions from the 2015 event.

Refreshed, and with ideas for presentations buzzing in their heads, vacationers from around the world are returning to their desks to find they have just days to submit their conference abstracts for Oceanology International 2016 – ‘give us more time’ is the constant plea. Therefore Reed Exhibitions, organisers of the biennial event being held at London’s ExCeL, Tuesday 15 – Thursday 17 March 2016, have extended the deadline for the submission of abstracts for the global forum for marine technology and ocean science until Friday 16 October 2015.
