Started 2 years ago and conducted in collaboration with IFREMER, the RESIDENT R&D program aims at qualifying technological bricks for ROV long term residency on the seabed. These trials marked the end of the first half of the program showcasing the new generation Argos-X ROV's capability to incorporate an autonomous suite and prepare for high-speed / low-power survey operations. Overall, repeatable autonomous mission profiles were conducted, covering docking/undocking, wall tracking and open water navigation.

Phoenix’s International (Phoenix) recently assisted the Naval Sea System Command (NAVSEA) Supervisor of Salvage and Diving (SUPSALV) with the successful recovery of an MH-60R helicopter and an F/A-18F Super Hornet fighter aircraft. The two aircraft went down within 30 minutes of each other during routine flight operations off the USS NIMITZ (CVN-68) in the South China Sea on 26 October 2025. All crew members survived and were rescued.

PaleBlue Delivers ROV Simulator for the French Navy

SubC Imaging has launched the Rayfin Uplink, a camera technology that gives operators access to digital HD & 4K imaging using the ROVs they already own. The system provides a direct digital connection between the Rayfin Uplink ROV camera and a topside control unit or laptop. SubC’s Uplink technology uses the coax or twisted pair already inside many ROV tethers, giving established fleets access to modern imaging performance without fiber optic upgrades.
