Seabed Geosolutions has secured a letter of award to provide a 3D ocean bottom node (OBN) survey in 2000 m of water in the Santos Basin, offshore Brazil.

The 410 km2 survey, which has a contract value of over USD 50 million, will be performed for a prominent energy company using Seabed Geosolutions’ proprietary Manta® OBN technology and remotely operated vehicles. The four-component (4C) project will begin in the second quarter of 2020 and will take around 4 months to complete.

Seabed Geosolutions Secures 3D and 4D Ocean Bottom Node Contracts Offshore Trinidad and West Africa

Seabed Geosolutions has been awarded a 3D ocean bottom node (OBN) seismic acquisition project over the greater Angostura field in shallow waters, offshore Trinidad for BHP, and a 4D OBN project for Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company. The combined awards are valued at around US $60 million.

Seabed Geosolutions has been awarded a large 3D ocean bottom node (OBN) survey in the Santos Basin in Brazil. Seabed Geosolutions’ new, highly efficient Manta© node system will be used. The seven month contract is valued at around 90 million USD and is scheduled to commence at the end of the fourth quarter of 2017 or early 2018.

Seabed geosolutions secures continuity in the Middle East

Seabed Geosolutions, in cooperation with CGG, secured a new extension to its ongoing shallow water operations in the U.A.E. The variation order from Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) covers Phase-II of the Ghasha Field project. This new survey is due to start in October and is expected to take approximately 9 months. It has a value of around USD 60 million. With this new award, Seabed Geosolutions will enter its 4th year of continuous operations for ADNOC in the U.A.E., having recently successfully completed the Hail, Shuweihat and Ghasha Phase-I surveys.

Seabed Geosolutions secures two new contracts

Seabed Geosolutions will soon mobilise for the variation order that was signed today by Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) with CGG to conduct a shallow water seabed survey. The survey is over the Ghasha-Butini field, will take around 12 months and has a value of around USD 125 million. The recent successful completion of the Hail-Shuweihat survey has promoted this variation order, confirming ADNOC’s confidence in Seabed Geosolutions’ ability to operate safely and efficiently.
