C-Kore deploys with Australian operator to test downhole gauges

C-Kore Systems has finished a series of deployments with an Australian operator to perform detailed measurements of downhole gauges. The C-Kore Subsea TDR unit verified the downhole connections and cables, providing quick and accurate information on the location of anomalies. The information gained would be difficult or impossible to measure using traditional testing methods and allows the operator to learn lessons for future well installation campaigns.

C-Kore Supports Total with Subsea Testing Operations in the North Sea

The C-Kore units quickly identified and localised anomalies in the subsea infrastructure saving time and money on the subsea campaign while ensuring the operator gained accurate information to inform the field’s maintenance program. With the automated C-Kore units, no additional offshore personnel were needed to perform the testing.
