Requirements & Summary

Building on your recent marine survey experience you will have the opportunity to drive growth in the region and help develop future operational concepts and business models for unmanned systems. In this global role you will work independently, travel and work remotely.

As our Sales Manager for Marine Robotics in the Asia Pacific region, it is imperative that you have recent commercial survey experience. By this we mean that you have a clear understanding of survey requirements and operations, ideally using autonomous underwater vehicles or uncrewed surface vehicles. You will also be able to identify the benefits of using robotic solutions and communicate that credibly. You are commercial oriented, committed, collaborate efficiently and show determination in your work.

Key accountabilities
Sales of Kongsberg Maritime's marine robotics solutions for commercial, governmental and scientific applications in the Asia Pacific region
Participate in and lead bid teams to compile technical and commercial responses to tenders
Present at conferences, trade shows, demonstrations and customer meetings
Provide technical and application feedback to the product development team to drive future capabilities
Support the wider sales and marketing organisation

Qualifications and experience
Recent commercial survey experience either using AUVs and/or USVs or commercial survey tendering experience
Fluent written and oral communication skills in English
Credible and engaging presenter
Able to travel internationally without restriction up to 150 days per year
It is desirable that you have commercial sales or procurement experience and working knowledge of unmanned maritime technology
