Requirements & Summary
As an embedded system engineer for embedded systems dedicated to IoT, you will have to design and implement advanced electronic functions and technologies in harsh industrial and defense embedded applications.
Your main tasks will be as following:
- Propose and implement modern IoT and AIoT architectures and applications, identifying the optimal integration and deployment mode and strategy
- Identify and justify the choice of technologies suited to an application
- Drafting and ensuring the technical documents required for the development and integration of IoT applications
- Design and develop hardware platforms (CAD, DAO, routing - Eagle)
- Design, production and integration of ULNA and medium-frequency electronic circuits (antennas, Baloon)
- Preparing and specifying EMC tests for equipment
- Identifying and proposing mechatronics test and integration strategies (FUSION 360)
- Actively participate in the development, integration or implementation of applications
- Seek innovative solutions and co-supervise research on subjects requiring the deployment of IoT applications
- Monitor technological developments in your area of expertise
- Train and produce documents enabling the transfer of skills relating to your area of expertise
- Publish and present work in high-level peer-reviewed scientific journals
- Identify technological and scientific bottlenecks to propose development strategies
- Validate and characterize the performance of the solutions delivered
- Participate in the deployment of our solutions with clients
Profile:
You have an engineering degree in electronics or telecommunications with a specialization in embedded systems or IoT. You have a proven successful experience of managing development, deployment and integration projects for IoT and AIoT applications.
Skills:
- Expertise in electronics development and integration tools and platforms (Eagle, Fusion 360, etc.)
- Schematic and PCB design
- Familiarity with electronic test tools and environments (network and spectrum analysers, etc.)
- Mastery of ARM MCUs and DSP.
- Solid knowledge of electronic development and embedded/edge systems,
- Good knowledge of RTOS and embedded operating systems
- Mastery of industrial communication interface and development tools (Profibus, MODBUS, etc.)
- Knowledge of electronic integration tools and constraints and SMD integration methodologies and technologies (Gerber, Excellon, Chip Shooting)
- Fluency in English (>C1)

Academic backrgound:
- Engineering degree (master and above)
Experience:
- 5 years of relevant experience or conpleted post-doc degree
Annual Salary: NOK 850,000 - 1.1 million depending on experience and expertise
