Subsea Expo 2024 to Celebrate Two Decades of Subsea Excellence

01.11.2023
Subsea Expo, the world's largest annual subsea exhibition and conference, returns to P&J Live in Aberdeen from 20 - 22 February 2024, where the free three-day exhibition and conference will celebrate two decades of showcasing the technologies and innovations of the underwater sectors to the world. The event is expected to welcome more than 6,000 delegates from the UK and overseas and will feature a wide variety of discussion platforms and networking events throughout.

Organised by Global Underwater Hub (GUH), Subsea Expo traces a long and vibrant history back to its modest beginnings in 2004, when the GUH (then known as Subsea UK) first launched its flagship event, bringing industry together and providing a welcome platform for business. It has gone from strength to strength and is now considered an unmissable event for anyone working in - or with - the underwater sectors, attracting over 150 exhibitors and around 85 conference speakers each year.

To mark the occasion, this year's conference will feature a panel of the organisation's original founders: industry leaders with an incredible depth of knowledge and experience will come together to debate the challenges now facing the underwater sectors as energy transition, net-zero, defence and co-location rise to the forefront of discussion.

Neil Gordon, CEO of Global Underwater Hub, said: "There is no doubt that Subsea Expo has been a not-to-be-missed event for companies over the years and remains a staple in our subsea calendars. Subsea Expo will continue to build on its success and deliver the quality exhibition and robust conference our delegates have come to expect."

Subsea Expo offers a variety of events taking place within the exhibition and conference spaces throughout the three days, ranging from panel discussions to drinks receptions and a networking breakfast. All are completely free to attend, though registration in advance is recommended as space can be limited.

The event is also key for young people considering a career in the subsea sectors. “ForeSea Your Future” brings together a tightly packed schedule, giving schools and students the opportunity to hear from young professionals working in industry and get ‘hands-on’ with the technologies on display within the exhibition.

Taking place alongside Subsea Expo is the prestigious Subsea Expo Awards ceremony, held in the evening on 21 February 2024. The awards celebrate and highlight the successes, achievements and innovations of our industry's best and brightest individuals and standout companies. Tickets for the Subsea Expo Awards are available at www.globalunderwaterhub.com.

Rebecca Swain, Events Lead at Global Underwater Hub, said: "The Subsea Expo Awards is a fantastic evening of entertainment and a key opportunity for networking with peers over a delicious three-course meal; it is shaping up to be a brilliant night with so many amazing companies and people up for an award."

Online registration for Subsea Expo is now open and it is completely free to attend. Sponsorship opportunities are also available.
