SMD Awarded Contract To Further Upgrade The DeepOcean T3200

Soil Machine Dynamics Ltd (SMD) are pleased to announce they have been awarded a contract by DeepOcean UK to deliver a mechanical cutting boom and associated cable handling system for the T3200 Tractor. SMD originally delivered the T3200 back in 2008 as the world’s most powerful trenching asset and were subsequently awarded a contract in 2013 to add an interchangeable jet trenching cassette which delivered unrivalled jetting power in softer ground.

Deep Ocean Engineering, Inc proudly announces it’s participation in the first comprehensive multibeam survey of the USS Arizona and the USS Utah at the World War II Valor in the Pacific National Monument in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. During the week of October 20th 2014, team members from Deep Ocean Engineering, Inc, R2Sonic, Autodesk, and eTrac traveled to Oahu to conduct these historic surveys as a gift to the National Park Service. *Caption: The H-1750 USV’s shallow drafting and maneuverability made it a suitable fit for the shallow waters above the sunken warship USS Arizona.
