Rovco Completes Decommissioning Contract with Well-Safe Solutions

Rovco has successfully completed a contract awarded by Well-Safe Solutions to support its well plug and abandonment decommissioning operations in the Southern North Sea. This is the second contract that the leading provider of subsea and hydrographic survey projects has secured with Well-Safe Solutions, having previously performed survey work on an abandoned subsea wellhead in UK waters in 2021.

BMS has made a strategic investment in the continued growth of its underwater inspection service with the purchase of two Outland 3000 ROVs. The 3000 represents the latest evolution in Outland’s legacy of rugged, durable, and proven inspection class systems. The new 3000 series sets the bar for this class of underwater inspection platform by way of improved performance, built in high-speed communication capability to support multiple ethernet devices, additional thrust and payload capacity, improved flexibility for integration of tooling and tool-free maintenance. Both systems will be fitted with Tritech Gemini 1200ik Multi Beam Sonars, Waterlinked DVLs, two-function manipulators, and cleaning capabilities. The systems are rated for 300 meters but can be upgraded to 600 meters.

Deliveries of the Double Eagle systems are scheduled with those of new vessels to the Polish Navy during 2026-2027.

Rovco Awarded Contract at Galloper Offshore Wind Farm

Rovco, a leading global provider of subsea robotic and hydrographic survey solutions, has been awarded a contract for the provision of offshore rock bag deployment and installation at the Galloper Offshore Wind Farm in the Outer Thames Estuary. The project scope covers the application of an operator engineered solution for the installation of rock bags, which need to be placed at precise locations on and around the Cable Protection Systems (CPS) on the wind farm, located 27km off the Suffolk coast.
