Allspeeds Supplies Webtool HCV330 Cable Cutter to Ashtead Technology

Leading hydraulic tool maker, Allspeeds Limited, has supplied a Webtool HCV330 hydraulic cutter to Ashtead Technology, an international subsea equipment rental and solutions specialist. The largest Webtool cutter manufactured so far, the HCV 330 is designed to cut large diameter umbilicals and subsea power cables up to 330mm. It will complement Ashtead Technology’s existing fleet of high-performing subsea cutting technology solutions for the offshore energy sector.

Cellula Robotics Ltd. is pleased to announce the successful completion of Imotus-S AUV sea trials. Imotus-S enables deployed vessels to easily monitor their magnetic and acoustic signature in a timely manner without having to leave station. The sea trials, executed in the Saanich Inlet over the course of two weeks starting November 14th, served to meet various project milestones including acoustic ranging, magnetic ranging, and understanding safe distance to the vessel while maintaining control authority.

Subsea7 today confirmed the award of three contracts by Aker BP; a major1 contract for Yggdrasil field development project (formerly NOAKA), a large2 contract for Skarv Satellite Project and a substantial3 contract for Valhall PWP-Fenris project, all located offshore Norway. The awards were pre-announced on 8 December 2022 and will be recorded in the backlog of Subsea and Conventional upon signature by all parties, expected to occur later today.
