Euro Rope is a trusted manufacturer and supplier of a broad range of high quality rigging and lifting equipment. Oceanscan invests in Tritech’s Gemini Systems

Tritech International Ltd, [Tritech], a Moog Inc. Company, has secured a deal with Oceanscan for the purchase of multiple Gemini 720is and Narrow Beam Imaging (NBI) units from the company’s range of multibeam imaging sonars. The Gemini 720is, an upgrade of the Gemini 720i, was launched in March 2016 and combines the benefits of high-definition imaging with long-range target detection making it ideal for Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) and ROV platforms, including installation on pan and tilt units.

Ellicott Dredge Technologies (EDT) is pleased to announce that the City of Boise, Idaho chose it to design a Mud Cat 40E Custom (MC-40EC) dredge for the city's innovative Dixie Drain Phosphorous Offset Project. Boise will use the MC-40EC dredge to remove phosphorous from the Boise Watershed.

Ports of Jersey took delivery of a new Multi-Beam system from Swathe Services last week. The comprehensive equipment, software and support package was chosen by Aaron Gavey, Deputy Marine Operations Manager, to enhance the organisation’s new commercial survey capability. Ports of Jersey engaged in an extensive trial period alongside a competitive tender process. As a result, Swathe Services was chosen to deliver the R2Sonic Sonic 2024 with TruePix and UHR 700 kHz capability.

Oceaneering Completes Acquisition of Blue Ocean Technologies

Oceaneering International, Inc. (“Oceaneering”) (NYSE:OII) announced today that it has acquired the assets of Blue Ocean Technologies, LLC (“Blue Ocean”), a privately held provider of riserless light well intervention (“RLWI”) services, for approximately $30 million in cash. Included in the acquisition are three RLWI systems, two of which are currently under construction, and are expected to be fully functional by mid-2017. Oceaneering expects to invest approximately $10 million to complete construction of the two RLWI systems.

Aker Solutions Wins Contract to Build Johan Sverdrup Pipeline Receiving Facility at Mongstad

Aker Solutions won a contract from Statoil to build the pipeline facilities, modifications and tie-ins needed at the Mongstad terminal to receive oil from the North Sea Johan Sverdrup field. The contract, valued at about NOK 350 million, is for engineering, procurement, construction and installation services. The work will be completed in 2019.

Technip awarded a subsea contract in Malaysia - Leveraging its unique subsea vertical integration -

Technip has been awarded a subsea contract by PETRONAS Carigali Sdn Bhd, (wholly owned subsidiary of PETRONAS), for the Samarang Redevelopment Project Phase 2 EOR, in Malaysia. Under this contract, Technip will manage the engineering, supply, construction, installation and commissioning (EPCIC) of flexible pipelines, with diameters ranging from 4” to 6”, as well as EPCIC of associated platform I-tubes.

C-Kore Subsea Testing Tools supplied to PTTEP Australasia

C-Kore Systems successfully completed another campaign with PTTEP Australasia by supplying them with their C-Kore Subsea Testing Tools. The C-Kore tools speed up and simplify subsea testing. They were used to fault-find electrical cables subsea where traditional measurement methods would have taken much more time to deploy and given less accurate results. The C-Kore units saved the customer a substantial amount of time with their repeatable results and streamlined reporting.
