NORBIT introduces an Autopilot Solution for USVs and ASVs equipped with a NORBIT integrated multibeam echo sounder. NORBIT AutoPilot enables fully automated line planning without operator intervention. The vehicle is remotely controlled using NORBIT’s data acquisition software DCT, which initiates data recording upon reaching the first survey line. Once the current line is completed, the USV will seamlessly transition to the next survey line. This innovative solution offers a convenient and efficient method for collecting survey data.

Havfram awarded contract by Iberdrola for Windanker project

Havfram has signed a contract with Iberdrola for the installation of 21 Siemens Gamesa wind turbines at their Windanker project in the Baltic Sea. The agreement covers transport and installation support, which will be executed by one of Havfram’s newbuild NG20000X-HF wind turbine installation vessels. The contract will start in the summer of 2026 and makes a perfect fit towards high utilization for the vessel planned to be used.
