Aberdeen’s North Star Renewables to design and deliver service vessel fleet for Dogger Bank Wind Farm

Leading Aberdeen company North Star Renewables has been awarded contracts worth an estimated £270 million to deliver three state-of-the-art service operation vessels (SOVs) to be used on what will be the world’s largest offshore wind farm, the 3.6GW Dogger Bank Wind Farm in the North Sea.

Sonardyne Delivers Fusion 2 Remote Operations first

Underwater technology company Sonardyne has successfully provided remote Fusion 2 survey operations capability on a live subsea construction campaign in the US Gulf of Mexico. Using its new Remote Operations Access Module (ROAM), Sonardyne surveyors based in the UK were able to remotely access and operate the Fusion 2 survey and construction software onboard Subsea 7 vessels in the Gulf of Mexico.
